I previously thought Love's good play in Minnesota was all smoke and mirrors - a guy getting a bunch of boards because his team wasn't that physical and he was going hard at basic NBA talent during regular season games...

Dude stepped up in the final few games of the Olympics, grabbing boards against decent big men, getting buckets, muscling around the post and the paint, making key buckets, etc, all while surrounded by top talent (i.e. he wasn't outshined that much). Dude is skilled and will be a force for a long time. Props.

Dude, this is the Olympics. These games are exhibition like games. The competition is nothing like the NBA, the best big man in the Olympics was Gasol and Chandler. How were you impressed with Love grabbing boards over Argentina, French and Nigerian bums. Your starting to sound like the delusional Knick fans who were impressed with Fat Lazy 37pt game against Nigeria. Love is a mediocre player.

I watched a lot of games, Love was in the paint doing work and grabbing rebounds with good positioning and such. Guys like Lebron that normally grabbed rebounds were backing off. Let's be real Love outplayed Chandler the past two games of the Olympics, Chandler couldn't even get minutes. I know Olympics competition isn't the best barometer, but Love's stats in these games were more impressive to me than his NBA numbers

:childplease: What games where you watching? Pau was inconsistent and Chandler was non-existent. Kevin Love beasted in the Olympics and is the best PF in the Nba not named Dirk

I thought he could be legit, but I was honestly confused by some of the ridiculous stats he would put up. I didn't think he could be that good, but seeing him in a bit of a different environment increased my opinion on him.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
This is probably it... I think I was off in my earlier assessment. It's hard to judge a bunch of Minnesota v Milwaukee games objectively

I watched him a lot last year, both he and Nikola Pekovic were on my friend's fantasy team which I managed. Dude is a beast, I expect the Wolves if healthy to make the playoffs.
