You think he's willing to come off the bench? Jefferson needs the bulk of the minutes, he can switch which is something Love can't do.

Jae Crowder & a Nets pick for Love in the offseason, you saying no? :lupe:

Willing? Hes not going to have a say in that matter Id imagine

I disagree. His stats look fine but I feel like they sacrifice a lot on defense for him to get his.
The problem on defense was the Cavs' scheme in those first two games, not necessarily Love's defense. Lue actually fukked up by making him a rover (he wasn't the only player used in this role, and he wasn't the only player who got caught out), using him to trap and overplay Klay and Curry far too often - he has a # of limitations on that side of the floor - he shouldn't be put into a role like that. Every Cavs player was missing rotations, not switching properly or losing sight of their assignments: LeBron, Kyrie, JR, Shumpert, Thompson, Delly etc etc. Not just Love, and not just when he was on the court either.
His production can be made up by some of these role players showing a pulse, which they did today and probably continue to do at home. They would not hold GS to 90 pts with him playing. Offense was free flowing and they swarmed them on defense. Hold court at home and hope to steal one on the road with a Bron herculean effort. Leave that bum at the ER.
The effort and execution they showed in this game on offense compared to the first two is night and day. That's not on Love. That's on the team as a whole. This game would've ended the same way if Love was playing.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
1.) I would...I wanted his role adjusted going into Game 1. It's Lue's job to sell him on it to keep him in line.

2.) And I still wouldn't trade him this summer.

I guess we'll find out in game 4 if he comes off the bench, because your defense and being able to switch if you had to looked so much better tonight without him.

Not even for Melo :lupe:

He wasn't even the problem with the Cavs in the first two games.

He really wasn't.

Lebron's jumper was the biggest turn around to me. They actually had to respect him on the perimeter and he wasn't stopping the ball nearly as much. Add that to JR and Kyrie actually doing what they are supposed to do and you got what you got. Love was the best thing about game 1 IMO.

These nikkas actually hitting shots and hustling ain't got shyt to do with Love. They do that with him on the floor and you get similar results.

Their defense is more dynamic with Jefferson, the ability to switch if they absolutely have to is something they couldn't do with Love. Jefferson was on so many different people tonight, he had a lot of good moments on defense that I don't think Love is capable of doing.

Nah.

Love has actually been great this season and they wouldn't get a great return for him this summer.

This is just a really bad match up for him.

Side note....I told you the Cavs would struggle with Livingston...but Lue listened to me and put Jefferson on him. :mjpls:
