Real shyt, the growth of the 24/7 sports news cycle is prolly the biggest reason why so many of today's NBA players are so dull. Manufacturing controversy has made brehs weary of being themselves. They prolly also gettin trained to be docile and well behaved from AAU all the way to the pros. This is the league stern wanted when he started legislating Hip Hop culture out of the game so fukk those stuffy cacs worried about shareholders and fairweather fans they did this so they deserve the criticism.

But they still gettin' tatted up though.. they might be docile and robotic but that's thrown out the window when they get giant ass logos tatted from their necks on down to their hands. Perception is reality to these white fans.. they see a black player all tatted up from head to toe and its, "oh he's a thug". And they don't know whether he's from a good family or not.

To me minus the dumb ass rules I enjoyed the all-star weekend. But then again I enjoy it most years. I think people come in with too many expectations and build up too high what to expect each year. I pretty much came to expect a night of jokes, hopefully close competitions in the early competitions, and then a dunk contest with a few memorable dunks but dumb format that takes away a little bit of steam.

You realize the new format with less competition and individual pressure is the only reason we saw more "big names" this year, right? If they go back to the old we go back to rookies and Who He Play For all stars.

I think they should keep it and just add the final round b/w the winning conference that everyone was already expecting

Yeah I already said that. But he didnt put down 4 or 5 crazy memorable dunks like dude just tried to claim. Nor has anyone. All dunk contests over the years have been decided by one or two memorable dunks.
