You probably never watched a single Tulsa Shock game. The fact that Skylar Diggins was there for ANY skill competition showed they TRIED to throw you a bone. If NBA All-Star Weekend needed to be a prime source for your spank bank, we're watching this for the wrong reason. If the format was better and Nick Cannon didn't come off so awkward at times, no one would be overly concerned about who was hosting it. We're just over analyzing this as usual.

:ehh:He has a point. Skylar is the De Colo of the WNBA right now. Donne is the future superstar as far as mass appeal (looks and skills). There is a reason they chose Skylar instead of Griner to play in these All-Star skill competitions. And it has nothing to do with basketball skills.

Can we stop blaming this on the absence of hip-hop culture? All we hear about hip-hop culture is how gay it's gotten and how everyone is too friendly.
nikka all you do is complain about others in these types of thread.:beli:

it's become an annual tradition with you.:beli:

The shyt just wasn't all that good overall. More Skylar Diggins wasn't gonna save that.

The NFL knows the people will watch regardless. They make it better by adding eye candy to the sideline. They let the ex jocks comment on the game but as far as the sidelines go they have eye candy out there which is always nice. I wouldn't mind watching a black version of Erin Andrews interviewing players as opposed to Craig Sager. Adam Silver gotta get hip to the consumer. They were on the right track but fell off of it

fukk all that shyt bruh. It's one thing to complain. It's another thing to get what you want and still complain. You're telling me that YOU wouldn't say shyt to the person that just can't be impressed about something?

The irony is that I wasn't impressed with a lot of the shyt that happened tonight EITHER, but when motherfukkers complain about the shyt they ASKED for for YEARS, it would be best for some of y'all to find something else to do. The NBA could never win doing it our way, because we'd just complain some more.

The Kings would be correct. A lot of squads is wrong.

The shyt looks better than it did in the 80's and 90's. It isn't a bunch of fast breaks and bad defensive possessions like the 80's or terrible offensive sets and low % like the 90's and early 2000's.

I think you are dead wrong on this my brotha.

just looks a bit more un-organized to me. and im sure we can agree that very few teams have identities these days. maybe about 8.

but hey, im lovin it. so im not complaining. i just dont see how the previous generations could be compared to AND 1 as oppsed to the current landscape.

Maybe less than half of the league doesn't have a define identity but I think most do.

Atlanta- Spurs East with less talent
Charlotte- Defensive minded, Chicago style
Chicago- See Charlotte
Boston- No ID, they play tough, run great plays, and are well coached but their talent is lacking. Maybe I don't watch them enough.
Dallas- Been playing the same style for years.
Orlando- Balanced with decent movement in sets. Just lack talent.
Philly and Phx- uptempo style.
LAL- Play D'Antoni ball
SAS- Squrs ball
T'Wolves- Aldeman ball
Brooklyn- No I.D.
Memphis- Physical, low post style.
Cleveland- Mike Brown ball. Suck at it tho.

Would it really matter? Y'all wouldn't sit through a Skylar Diggins game but y'all wanna hear her flub lines for 3 hours?

and the Damaris Lewis intro from last year was prior to the All-Star Game, not All-Star Saturday

Niqqa shut up. She went to LaGuardia which already makes her a better thespian than Nick Cannon
