Can't blame him for wanting a chance at a title by playing with Steph instead of Russ :yeshrug:

And that is exactly why I can't fault him. You can't count how many times Russ would go into Metroid mode and forget he's got KD and other players on the wing open. This dude would keep slashing and either get a charge called or miss the lay up and be like "oh well". You could look at the :comeon: :martin::what: expressions on Durant face. I'm positive that KD was [1] Tired of living in fukkin OKC [2] Tired of Russ not passing the ball even when he was cold and bricking and [3] The offense not having any direction.

He probably saw how Klay, Curry, and Draymond passed the ball around like "nicca shoot it...it's enough possessions for everyone" and was like :patrice:

:jbhmm:

:ohhh:

Whether you want to admit it or not, you're pushing similar talking points and narratives to fit your belief system. We all do it. Yours just oppose reality and sound reasoning is all.

:manny:
You certainly do and its cool to see you finally admit it. But nah, #factsonly from me. Just because certain facts make you feel some way doesnt make them any less true. :manny:

To say they werent championship level is moronic. The core of Durant and Westbrook already been to the finals and they likely made moves to get better before KD split. They were up 3-1 and clearly the better team against Golden State until KD and them choked, which we now know likely wasnt a choke but rather intentional throwing of the series so he could join them as they planned for years.

It's easy to say that...but you have to look at why they lost the series after being up 3-1. Serge is gone and they didn't really add any upgrades. I think that was one of the reasons dude probably waited for as long as he did. I can't knock him at all for this.

At that point I told my brother that I don't care if OKC won it all... KD is getting the fukk out of that bland ass city. KD has given half his career to that city...fukk he probably already know Russ dipping next year...wtf would he linger around and fukk OKC over in the long run if him and Russ left at the same time?

Serge was a shell of his former self of late and the Orlando trade was an inprovement.

And that second bolded has already been debunked. Russ and Nick Collison went to dinner w Kevin days before his announcement and begged him to stay in OKC.

Like I said - you only think that because of your belief system. What YOU think doesn't hold any weight when one looks at reality.

:dead:So it's ok as long as management agrees to trade you? God forbid athletes getting power to do what they want. Let's go back to the 80's when the owners could do whatever the fukk the want to the players.:martin:

People got ROLES to play. What the fucck is the job of a GM? It is the general manager's JOB, his number one PRIORITY to recruit, sign, trade, hire and release players in the best interests of that franchise. It's not just that it's "okay" for management to agree to make a trade... IT IS THEIR JOB!

A free agent player, especially an unrestricted free agent is free to do whatever. He doesn't have the excuse of he was forced out, or traded, or cannot go to any type of team. He can pick and choose, so whatever decision he makes it is ONLY ON HIM to own up on to. He cannot blame the front office, he cannot blame his previous team, coach, or management. He can only blame himself.... and if people viewing it as a DUMMY move, or a bytch move then that's how people see it.

You want to NOW say it's NO DIFFERENT..... when SPORTS FANS for FUCCKIN' EVER been clowning, bytching, angry at GM's, at organizations, and the so forth for the PICKS, DRAFTS, TRADES, RELEASES, and everything... you want to have it one way, but not the other??? So it ISN'T COOL to criticize DURANT for making a bytch-move... but we can CLOWN the Laker's GM for the dummy moves they been making? Or anything that the LEAGUE does and we're not cool with?

The ONLY difference is that players had to deal with the management and it be the management that made it happen for the best of the franchise. Whereas now, the players pick what is best for them.... however, it speaks to A LOT of someone's character, especially at a superstar status to pick where you don't have to earn your keep. If Durant wants to do it without the responsibility on his shoulders, with being the possible 2nd or 3rd option of that already established system. So be it. But in my view, he won't be looked as a LEADER, a COMPETITOR, or a true champion... the same way I do not look at STEVE KERR as a champion coach just because he inherited a championship ready team. And his coaching was exposed because of that this finals and conference finals.

My only comment is his game will diminish to the point of :scust: Strictly spot up j's. He's going to follow in Bosh footsteps. Before Bosh got to the Heat, he had game. When he encountered two more dominant players he accepted that garbage role.

Durant will submit to Draymond and of course Curry.

Heard the same thing about LeBron when he went to Miami. KD will be our leading scorer. Steph will now be able to score 1 on 1 without being doubled like Kyrie did in the finals.
