I don't understand how sports work lmao. THEY LOST. You are the one who brought up 3-1 has some kind of evidence they would win next year, the fact is they LOST.
That's how sports work you either win or you lose. KD left because he didn't want to be OKC anymore, period. You know better than him, fukk outta here.

By logic Golden State was up 3-1 and lost, THAT IS MY LOGIC. I said from the beginning the cavs would win because they are the better team and even offered the ban bet, you can find the thread on here.

Golden State only won games when the cavs played like shyt lmao, when they start playing like they did the rest of the playoffs they won. They won 3 in the row because they are the better team period.

They need KD if they want to star in the championship picture for the next two years, if Lebron had Kyrie the whole series last year they would've won that series too.

There is only one Lebron James, he is the only player who can make a team relevant, then leave the team and they are no longer contenders.

KD is not Lebron, Steph is not Lebron, you can't just put them on any team and those teams become contenders.

If KD felt they could win next year he wouldn't have left lmao, he knows he culture of the team and it's a losing culture.
A clear-headed Durant on OKC next year is still the best team in the West. :yeshrug: They lost the series last year because Durant wanted to join the Warriors, period. It made no sense how they went from dominating GS to playing timid and literally quitting in game 7 down 2 pts in the 3rd quarter. Durant wanted to leave so he quit. :yeshrug: If he decides to be a man instead of a coward they had the talent and personnel to dominate the Warriors, last year and this upcoming one.

Are you saying it made no sense for a team that was known for choking away games to choke?

The Warriors have gone from being lucky to conspiring with players on other teams to have them throw games.

End of an era for that OKC team. I remember thinking they could be a dynasty when they were at the age of 22/23 playing in the finals, then the Harden trade happened. Hardens playoff Rocket team got Westbrook injured and the Thunder dealt with injuries the following years. Just when they finally get healthy, their top player leaves.

It just shows that you have to strike while the iron is hot. Can't worry about money when you have a young championship core.

Gotta be maddening for thunder fans because it was self inflicted

They havent gone from anything to anything, those are both true and non-exclusive facts.

Thunder choking games makes a lot more sense after we find out their best player already had his heart set on playing with a different team all along. So does Durant showing zero fire, frustration or resistance to losing playoff games, losing series, and having his teammates assaulted by...his future teammates. :scust:

Exactly this. The past two years this board (and the media) has been filled with people calling them lucky and overrated. If they weren't that good to begin with, why would they be mad Durant signed with them? :smhkobe:
:dahell:

No one has ever called the warriors an objectively bad team. We just thought they were mad overrated

Dudes were comparing them to the '96 bulls damn near the entire season.

Does this logic apply to LeBron quitting on Cle up 2-1 against Boston? fukk all that but but he had a triple double, we all know LeBron puts up the most emptiest stats ever.
