To think we just ended one historic season only to get another.
The NBA is truly the GOAT.
The NBA is truly the GOAT.
Durant is no where close to Wilkins or any of those guys. They would never make a weak move like Durant. He can never be considered one of the greatest after a move like this.
Revisionist history. They were drafted to teams with mchale and Parrish in the case of bird, and magic was drafted to a team with a 6 time MVP. There were never any bad times that would've made advantageous to leave in the first place, not to mention free agency didn't exist.
The Clippers
YesDominique Wilkins better than Durant?
Exactly. The west was so bad in the 80's that in 1981, we saw two teams with losing records meet in the conference finals. Showtime I think twice played a team with a losing record in the conference finals. One year was Seattle in 1988. Philadelphia was loaded in the front court in the early 80's too, so there wouldn't have been any point in bird going there, and nobody was gonna leave the Celtics for the bucks when they were good in the mid 80's.Exactly even if there was free agency, they would have been stupid for leaving
No shyt captain obvious? Now what does this have to do with what I said?NBA is a business so teams are gonna be trying to constantly improve regardless of whether they win the chip or not. KD exercised his earned FA rights to go elsewhere and it is what it is
I get it from GS's perspective, especially management. I could see Steph or Draymond being a little iffy but I don't know if that's the case or not. I just don't understand this from Durant's perspective. He's put himself in a tough spot here. What makes this mind blowing is, correct me if I'm wrong, for 2 months they've been trying to recruit him. This shyt is wild.
0 MVP awards and 0 trips past the second round :Lolsheed:
What's done is done, time to adjust. Some more obvious shyt that you are having a hard time withNo shyt captain obvious? Now what does this have to do with what I said?
