KD will never be an all time great superstar in my eyes.
I guess that doesn't matter to him, he just wants to win

If nikkas hate then let em hate and watch the rings pile up
It's not that far fetched. KD probably straight up asked him if he was going to re-sign.
Lakers fans should be happy. I think we all know where Russ wants to play...
That, I agree with. You do what you can to win, and if you manage to eliminate your competition along the way towards making a team better, more points to you.
You're king of the "bum ass message board nikkas" tho. You literally post more than anybody in this section.Dudes talking about "what good is the ring without the respect though?"
The respect of whom? Bum ass nikkas on a msgboard who haven't played competitive sports a day in their lives.

Nah, he's stephs bytch at this point.,
He might be the greatest sidekick tho
Or is steph the sidekick. All this so confusing

The problem with your argument is that the justification for KD jumping on GS's bandwagon and ring chasing at 27, is that he needed the rings for respect. " blame all the fans/media who put so much importance on rings. KD didn't want to be treated like Barkely, Malone, Stockton, Reggie Miller and 'em. He wants to win". That's the argument that you hear in dude's defense. KD is someone who claims to be the best player in the league. How will he ever establish himself as the best player in th league after he's joined the team of the reigning back to back MVP? He can't. GS can win the ring with him having a relatively(for someone of his caliber) limited contribution. If this team puts it together correctly then somebody's going to have to fall back and take a lesser role and you would think that's going to be KD since he's the one jumping on the bandwagon after the team is already put together. If they mesh correctly and cruise to another finals and win the ring with KD being the second or third option, then how much respect will he deserve? It's hard to imagine KD getting that "best player in the league" respect on GS is what I'm saying.
I'm not understanding why you're so giddy. You hailed this team as one of the best ever before this move to get KD. They failed to live up to that this year and now that they've Gotten Durant the book is closed on that team. You've been proven wrong. That team won't go down as one of the best of all time. They had to go out and get KD
NBA is a business so teams are gonna be trying to constantly improve regardless of whether they win the chip or not. KD exercised his earned FA rights to go elsewhere and it is what it isYou're king of the "bum ass message board nikkas" tho. You literally post more than anybody in this section.

Revisionist history. They were drafted to teams with mchale and Parrish in the case of bird, and magic was drafted to a team with a 6 time MVP. There were never any bad times that would've made advantageous to leave in the first place, not to mention free agency didn't exist.I don't know why people always bring up magic and bird when it comes to players leaving
Magic and bird won rings early in their career
They had it made
