Durant is basically Robert Horry now. A role player that may hit some big shots.

The team he went to already beat him and won the championship without him.

Weak ass move. No matter how many rings the Warriors win...Durant will never be considered among the greatest of all time.

Never.
Basically Robert Horry :dead:

Ya'll nikkas killing me :dead:

We'll have the money to give them both their max. We'll be in the luxury tax but money ain't a thing to Lacob. Unlike OKC, we don't mind spending for talent on this side

Wait Durant is on Roc nation management right? Wasn't bron roc nation for a minute before he started his own agency with Rich? I know they were still close but bron gotta feel some type of way that his friend brokered a deal that will most likely challenge his reign

How about 26 year old Moses Malone joining the 76ers coming off a Finals berth in free agency? Teamed up with Dr J

Not entirely the same situation as the 6ers needed Malone to put them over the hump. GS clearly don't need Durant and were a stupid Kerr decision from winning the championship this season.

Not exactly the same, but Moses was the reigning MVP who joined forces with a guy that won MVP before him and a perennial Finals contender in the 76ers. If that happened in the league today he's probably getting killed for it

Regardless of what happened the Warriors did lose the finals and it's the reason he's there now. Adding Durant adds a dimension to their offense that wasn't there previously and improves upon their weaknesses. He said from the start of this entire process that he'd value winning first and foremost so :yeshrug:

It's funny how Malone and Payton jumped ship to the Lakers and didn't get this much hatred(can't beat em join em:sas2:)
Barkley did the same thing trying to catch that last Rockets wave.
This shyt has been happening for awhile now.
Will Smith came through with the memory scrambler:mjlol:

Payton & Malone were beyond washed up, and didn't get eliminated by Lakers the year before..

Barkley was at the tail end of his career..

But u already knew that.. Moron

That's the same mindset Dominique Wilkins, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Patrick Ewing, all had during THIER primes with no rings to show for it
Okay? He's literally going for the easiest path. It doesn't make what KD is doing any less bytch made. There were plenty of teams ready to take that next step and offer him just as much. He took the easiest route. He's a great player, but no way I can root for him anymore. The ultimate beta athlete

for those that say its the same thing as what Lebron did then yes, the story has to line up..Here are the reason why this situation is WAY different then Lebrons situation.. Lebron had no help in Cleveland, KD did. KD joined a team that just beat him in the playoffs, Lebron didn't. Lebron was always friends with DWade, KD and Steph were rivals. The Warriors were a 73 win team, the Heat were a 47 win team. Trying to just write this off as "Lebron did it too" is a huge stretch..

Lebron set the precedent for these kinds of moves. Nobody respected him joining up with another top 5 player in Wade and another top 15 player in Bosh. Durant just took a page out of Lebron's playbook and turned it up a notch. You can't get mad at Durant but, give Lebron a pass without being a complete hypocrite. Lebron opened the floodgates with this shyt. Don't get mad now.

Lebron didnt join the Celtics who were actually a team created this way around 3 superstars and a promising young PG.

The Miami team was flawed in any event in that it was just 3 guys with no realible centre. KD did what he did and im fine with that. He is a free agent after all. No one batted an eye when Aldridge joined the Spurs last season but look at what happened to them

Even with his move, I feel that Cleveland repeats if Love plays to his potential.

Miami is different

Wade and bron are friends so they get a pass

Right @GoddamnyamanProf
Heat werent already in the Finals without Bron
Heat didnt already have the 2-time MVP before Bron joined
Heat didnt win 73 before Bron
Heat didnt already have a big 3 before Bron and Bosh joined
Heat werent rivals with Cavs w/ Heat players kicking Cavs in the nuts and shyt
Heat didnt just eliminate Bron in bitter fashion right before he joined
Durant isnt already bff with Warrior players like Bron was w Wade
Thunder havent put a weak ass supporting cast around Durant like Cavs did Bron

The situations are really not comparable. If anything this would be more like Barkley joining the Rockets in 96 after they beat Phoenix in 7 the two previous years. But then Chuck was 33 already so it was a bit more forgiveable, not 27 in his prime. Really it would just be a level of professional bytchassness never before seen in basketball.
Anyone acting like this is even close to what Bron did isnt someone I can take serious.

Just 3 guys huh? Wade is better than any warrior player in his prime fact or fiction? Bron stacked the deck just like Kd just Kd did it a bit more. When else have 3 20 ppg scorers played on the same team? Actually bron and Wade both were 30 ppg guys.
