Let's not be delusional here. Kd likely realized his best chance of winning was with the Nets given the haul it would take to get him. Pretty much the same situation as Kobe in 07. These are outliers. Most players that demand trades get and will continue to get traded. Mitchell is next.
KD didn't realize that by the time he told Joe Tsai it was him or Sean Marks/Steve Nash?

Yup!!

Both parties must have finally realized that a trade was a losing scenario for them.

How exactly is their job situation or lack thereof KD's fault :mjlol:
Is he talking about teams working on trying to sign KD instead of signing free agents? Do people even get weekly salaries or what the fukk is he talking about? This shyt has been going on during peoples vacation.
But he's copping pleas now talking bout "who said I was talking about you" :mjlol:

I don't know how you keep such negotiations private, if the point is that KD is on the market then it has to be known. Even if it's just the 30 front offices and it doesn't reach the public, that will still affect the FA:s

:mjlol: dudes swore the Celts were gonna trade half the roster
It would have made them worse. There was nobody that had the tradable capital to make this deal and still be competitive. The Nets would demand a King's ransom for KD and whoever paid it wouldn't be able to contend probably for the rest of KD's career. KD threw a tantrum and after the Nets sat on his request realized this was the best situation for him and let it go. Maybe before the Suns decided to keep Ayton he had hope but that sealed his fate.

TYRONE GA!
And they never lowered their asking price
Likely cause they never really wanted to trade him in the first place
But that Gobert deal definitely ruined the market

Gotta treat that Gobert deal as an exception/outlier. Just like Deshaun's deal with the Browns.
