How exactly is their job situation or lack thereof KD's fault :mjlol:
Teams waiting to make moves until they see where KD is going. It’s not that hard of a concept, it happens every time there are big time free agents. Mid level and low level guys sometimes have to wait until the first domino falls.

It’s not necessarily KD’s “fault” per se since he’s not responsible for others technically, but I’m sure KD knows of this effect too, so I’m not mad if some other player gets upset because of KD’s pump faking holding things up.

Nets won big time. They walked down both those nikkas Kyrie and KD. Refused to offer Kyrie shyt...blew off all his power plays. Then shytted on KD the same way...and he was supposed to be the big fish. He never had any control the whole time. This shyt is gonna set the precedent for all stars going forward. KD and Kyrie had to settle and that’s a big L for player power movement when superstars are forced to fall back like that...
League saw no super high value in KD... thats all that happened

No nobody was ready to meet the Nets asking price :dead:
They couldn’t come out and have a deal lower than that Gobert trade
Imagine gutting your team and future for a 34 yr old possibly injury prone now player :dead:

And they never lowered their asking price
Likely cause they never really wanted to trade him in the first place
But that Gobert deal definitely ruined the market

Let's not be delusional here. Kd likely realized his best chance of winning was with the Nets given the haul it would take to get him. Pretty much the same situation as Kobe in 07. These are outliers. Most players that demand trades get and will continue to get traded. Mitchell is next.

That's a disingenuous argument considering that as others mentioned the Minnesota Timberwolves are the true culprits of the situation who fukked it up for everybody. If they wouldn't have overpaid for Gobert (who is a dope player), then KD would have been moved by now and the trade market wouldn't have been at a standstill.

From what we know Mitchell has not demanded any trade
Utah just trying to shop him cause they have no intention of fielding an even remotely competitive team next year as they try to tank for Victor
