This about to drag out. We might not see a trade at all

This is ridiculous. KD is an all time great, but he's about to be 35 and coming off a first round loss on a loaded squad

Why would anyone do anything close to whats being suggested?

Gut your team, lose early in the playoffs for a few years, and then rebuild with no draft picks?

They're not gonna get these insane packages everyone keeps suggesting, and if they do, whoever does it is an idiot

Only problem that mindset is that the majority of contenders outside of Miami and Phoenix just don't have the picks to give as they traded them all away. It's obvious that they don't want to trade him and it's been apparent for a while now.
Pelicans got enough to get a trade done, but he ain't going there. Nets should keep him and Kyrie. They got the roster to compete

If KD really wants to be traded and the nets are not trying to trade him, KD just has to come in with Kyrie and just throw games let them go 0 - 30 and they will be quick to trade him

It's not worth it to the Pelicans gutting the roster to get KD especially with Zion already being injury prone as it is. It'd just be another player on the roster that doesn't want to be there like Zion.

THIS YOU nikkaS REALLY
BELIEVE THE shyt YALL POST?

It's semantics and irrelevant if you believe it or not. The point is that if he's getting swept with Kyrie and good role players all around him, what's the incentive to gut your team, and throw away all future assets?

You have a small window with someone that age, and then have to rebuild with no picks for the next half a decade?

Yeah I don't see any team that has enough young talent + draft capital to satisfy the Nets in terms of a KD trade while still having a team that competes for a title.

Tsai/Marks might just want to sit down with KD/Kyrie and smooth things over, it might work best for all parties.

Someone is gonna have to sit Tsai down and tell him that the NBA world and its players operate differently than what he's used to. Posters will get what I mean if you remember those hit pieces about Tsai and how he operates. Players especially the superstar ones have all the power and have for a long time now.

And it still didn’t matter in the end as Kawhi dipped elsewhere after a year.
It worked for one year
Durant is signed for 4 years (basically the rest of his career), Kawhi was on his last year

and how doesnt one title matter? Masai would make a trade for KD ine a heartbeat if he knew he was getting a title year one
