If any superstar player like KD jumps to a situation that loses promise, when your extension comes up, sign for for 2 years for much less and say"you're sacrificing to get a better roster". If you still end up with a Harden/Kyrie situation, demand a trade where you can go for some scrubs and your desired team has a better chance of keeping their core.

If you do get a better roster and go far, possibly win it all, then obviously you stay.

I'm actually thinking the Raptors have potentially the best package but could Durant be talked into going there? Would be 4 year deal this time instead of the 1 year rental that wound up being a championship with Kawhi
