Hey the Glove deserved that ring.

KD gonna be more instrumental than him tho when he gets that 3rd ring to seal his greatness.

tragic story of ring chasing gone wrong. when he was with okc i thought kd could have been better and more impactful to bball than lebron. them bandwagon rings clapped his mental health and turned him into a journeyman. his legacy could have been so much greater.

edit: kd winning one ring with okc would have been far greater than kd winning those two rings with gs.
KD would be ringless if he stayed in OKC.

Breh is not a leader , he is cold he is a walking bucket but he doesn't control the flow of the game just like he can't brush that Hamburger meat on the top of his dome.

Nah...fukk outta here. KD was clearly the best player on the team and the finals mvps's reflect that...don't matter what kd did before or after playing with GS...when he played with them he was the most dominant player on the court, not up for debate

If KD can only look like the best player on a team with an offense perfectly tailored for his offensive skill set but never find success out of that, what does that mean?

If he has never been able to replicate that success on any other team despite playing with other superstars and is getting SWEPT while Curry is beating the team that swept him in the finals, does that mean KD was better than Curry?

Why wasn’t KD the best player on the floor when he led OKC to drop a 3-1 lead against the Warriors? Maybe the Warriors offense and coaching staff tailor made an offense to hide KD’s weaknesses and accentuate his strengths?

Exactly

At some point it’s not these teams it’s him. He had the perfect situation and left and his create a team in Brooklyn was a colossal failure. But this suns team not only underachieved but they were never the favorites to make it out the west.
Kevin made a great decision to leave. The Brooklyn Nets actually had all the pieces to win the title. They had depth and superior offense than most teams at that time when KD was there. Unfortunately, nobody didn't know that Harden was going to get injured and nobody couldn't predict that Kyrie was going to become a problematic diva. Those were things that went wrong and spoiled the Nets championship hopes.

You’re right, it’s not up for debate. Steph won a finals MVP without Durant, while Durant has been a perennial playoff loser in since he left GS. Why couldn’t Durant replicate that FMVP shyt in other orginaztions? Steph is the same age as KD, and was able to win a FMVP under KDs watch, in his “era” against the same team that swept KD locked him up. Those two FMVPs only look great on paper with no added context. :camby:

Kd was the finals mvp TWICE on one of the best teams ever, nothing more to say. Facts are facts.
