I play counter-strike better when I'm really lit so I could totally understand it helping in basketball but I'm not a physical athlete so I'm :flabbynsick: when shooting hoops and lit

This is me too. I'm in great physical shape and fast but my reaction is slow as fukk when I play sports high. I remember I was lit and played some flag football with my homies friends from work and the football went thru my hands and hit me in the face on a wide open deep pass :mjlol:

I did play great defense tho :yeshrug:

Professionals should not be going to work drugged, especially without a doctor's prescription.

If you have performance anxiety, why don't you try a sports psychologist or life coach first, before you start self-medicating.

When I hear this kind of stuff, I have to wonder, are Black American athletes more often in trouble because of the media or are these guys more likely to be drugged all the time, and thus, more prone to make poor decisions?

It is not okay to go to work drugged.

Weed isn't some harmless plant that you can just abuse everyday without consequence. The more available and accepted it becomes, the more its health hazards will be exposed. Just like tobacco and alcohol.

Amin Elhassan said this same thing on Truehoop.

Also said when guys would come in they would worry about them getting caught with weed but worried about them playing like shyt if they were heavy drinkers

Is reading and comprehension taught in your schools?

First, my argument was not against drugs. I support the legalization of ALL drugs. If somebody wants to shoot heroin/drink alcohol/smoke weed on his/her free time, then let them do it.

Second, my argument is against normalizing drug use at work. Black people are more easily influenced by their celebrities especially when it comes to emulating self-destructive behavior. When the narrative becomes the people that Black people admire the most perform better at their jobs when they are weeded, it will transfer to all levels of the community.

Also, if you need weed to perform better than it is a PED. Psychology is a big part of sports. Often times it is psychology that separated the greats from the "he was so talented but he just couldn't put it together" types. So, if you are using something to enhance your psychology so you can perform better, how is it different from somebody else using a different substance that enhances his physical aspect of the game.

There are just too many serious implications to such ignorant statements, and there is nothing wrong with exploring them.

P.S.

Jon Jones was weeded when he hit a pregnant woman, he could have easily caused her to abort. When I used to work in factories, a dude caused an pretty sever accident while operating a forklift under the influence of marijuana.

Weed influences and alters mental functioning, even if your claim that it is safe is true, you can never rely on people to use it responsibly. People already go to work drunk and cause work place accidents, we don't need people add weed to that mix. So, let us be responsible with our words.
:mjpls: What type of alt-right bullshyt is this. No one thinks its ok for someone to operate machinery or any thing like that while high but these dudes are playing basketball lol.
