There are elements of go go music all throughout that album

I’m mobile right now but one song that comes to mind is “Need You Tonight”

I love that song, and it sounds nothing like "Crazy In Love"

By the way the first artist Rich worked with was Mary J Blige. He already had his sound by then.

What song off Ameries debut did Beyonce bite?

Why you wasting your time fam, when they say beyonce stole Amerie style they’re specifically talking about 1 thing VS crazy in love. Crazy in love came out two years before 1 thing
:mjlol:

What’s even funnier is beyonce had another #1 hit that album that was actually a bigger song (baby boy). That song was produced by Scott storch. Scott Storch himself had a unique sound and I’ve never heard of Beyonce stealing the style of artist that use his beats.

Some elements, but nothing like "Crazy In Love" or "1 Thing". "Need You Tonight" is more in tune with Mary's "In The Mean Time" and "Beautiful", both of which are produced by Rich Harrison. Those were his first credits.

I think "Me, Myself, & I" is more unique than his other songs on that album. "Baby Boy" and "Naught Girl" were on that whole Bollywood, Middle Eastern, Indian sound that was big during that era.

But it’s the Go Go sound

The point is it’s the sound Amerie came with Rich

That Mary J song with Rich “In The Meantime” didn’t have no Go Go sound too

My point is the elements

It’s what A was coming with along with her producer Rich

That’s all

No one was thinking about Amerie when Crazy In Love dropped lol

The gogo sound existed prior to Amerie

And Bey was already on the funk, soul tip before Crazy In Love

This was probably recorded in 01, early 02
