I watched the full 1.5 hour empire of dust documentary what I learned from it was that the chinese were racist and supremecist constantly talking down to the workers and locals and most of congolese businesses the chinese needed to use to complete the roads were inefficient and ignorantly ran causing huge delays.

Have you seen the full documentary.



After seeing the chinese track record I wouldn't be inclined to work with the chinese. I don't trust them when it comes to the best interests of black people.

I can understand people feeling some type of way about Africans because of some personal history, but that does not justify dehumanizing all Africans. It's wrong when some Africans do it to AA'S and it's wrong when some of y'all do it too

I don’t really know the state of Kenya, or the full extent of what’s going on out that way, but I don’t want to see any person or one country taken advantage of.

It’s clear China is using the country and other countries for their resources and as a come up. I’m for all those who are being oppressed, taken advantaged of, and in general, the underdog. Actions need to be taken to get the Chinese out, IMO.

I agree with what you are saying but we don't have a choice. China is fast racking African development. The reason they got in so deep is because they were coming in with promises to invest in infrastructure and develop the continent. A lot of these governments could use the help and that is where they are caught in Chinas web. Not even the west can escape China right now.

The problem is that with this is mind African nations do not have governments which are always competent in putting their people first. The Kenyan president for example is the equivalent of an oligarch, coming from long standing short list of powerful families. A lot of these brehs are removed the general citizens. The governments are the ones that are really to blame. They are lax and allow this abuse but don't get it twisted the average Kenyans are quick to fight back because we don't depend on officials to solve our problems most of them are viewed as corrupt anyway. The fact that this abuse was uncovered and detailed shows you that people were paying attention. Folks in here chose to take the angle that Africans lie down to take abuse but it's the opposite. It's a constant fight and these foreigners will try all this shyt and they will keep getting exposed by the regular man not the government. We fight back. Right now dealing with China is dancing with the devil but we gotta do that to win and build up the continent.
