Why do these directors choose the most embarrassing material for black film? We already have a “reimagining” of The Wizard of Oz and we don't need a remake of Its a Wonderful Life. These people love chasing controversy for mid films :camby:

My issue with turning Pryor's life into a series is that a similarly seminal white figure would get a film and likely a shot at awards season if the script is good. A great script and actor for a Pryor film could be an amazing film. Decisions like this are why we end up with a bunch of civil rights and slavery movies instead...

Eh, I get it, but honestly, a lof of historical figures, condensing their entire life into a 2 hour movie means you're cutting out a lot of shyt, unless you're focusing on a particular moment of the person's life.

Like the Michael Jackson movie, how do you fit that into a 2 hour movie unless you were focusing on like the time period when he was making Thriller.

My G, I want the reality. He did that and didn’t give a fukk about her.

I’m pretty sure him doing that gave her cancer ten years later too.
:laff: I just wanna see who would play her cause I’m judging that actress's ability completely on her titties. Call me a neanderthal, IDC :manny:

That's exactly how I felt about the Tupac movie, unless they Dune that bytch where you tell it in two parts
