Dude been trash :wow:
Haven't seen a wrestler exposed like this since Zack Sabre Jr :wow:
Unless you are talking about his performance in the Cruiserweight Classic Tournament, I got no idea what you are talking about, breh.:russ:

ZSJ not signing to WWE and instead going to NJPW to hone his exhibition style into a genuine killer move set probably did save his career because his style didn't connect in the CWC at all and no way would WWE have managed to salvage any of it.

But back to Kenta, he had the worst luck. Came into NXT when Trips was pushing hard for everyone to adjust to the WWE style as fast as possible, so he had to forget everything he learned in Japan immediately. You can tell how much they learned from that mistake by their handling of Asuka and Nakamura who were allowed to wrestle their strong style and gradually adjust.

Then the injuries happened (possibly from unnaturally changing his style) and all his momentum was lost. Add that he could never even use the full move set he had because Bryan and Punk took his signature moves and nothing worked out his way.

It sucks for him that his WWE run was non-existent but at least now he can go back out and hopefully salvage his career.

He'll probably get a hero's welcome, good for him :ehh:

Don't really care about his return though, not even the match against Marufuji last year was that good :manny:

Yeah, the guy whose entire moveset got ripped off by a decade of indy dudes and was walking scar tissue for most of his run is totally trash. :camby:

Gotta see him back in Japan before I make that judgement.

I'm amazed people are pretending KENTA was that good before joining WWE. He stopped being elite A LONG ass time ago, easily a couple of years before he started in NXT.

When he got signed we were even going :whoa: at people acting like the E' had gotten this super worker like it was 2009. And now that he got release I see excitement like he was on fire in 2013-2014, when he was already a couple of years past his prime :manny:
