At the same time, they aren't setting up till at least Memorial Day and there is no bridge to NJPW apparently...so what would there be for him to do as he obviously isnt involved in the business side of the promotion

I don't know but if I were him, I would take some time off to heal, play his video games, and spend time with family, because he might not get another spot like this to do those things for awhile when whatever contract he signs is in effect.

Immediate rocket push in both NXT and WWE proper.
