Beyonce performed "Formation" in 2016 ar the Superbowl Halftime and that had Black imagery and had more entertainment value without sacrificing message or imagery than the whole Kendrick Lamar set. It wasn't even about having white people shook, but they were. Cops talking about they were getting threats because of the songs and some of them saying they wouldn't provide security for her at the show.
Artists can both entertain and educate without sacrificing one for the other. It can also be done without writing think pieces.
It's not about stadiums it's about Domes specifically. Modern stadiums like the Rams stadiums sound amazing because they were built with modern sound and technology in mind.
No Orleans dome is an old ass stadium that's simply outdated
I've never liked the sound of concerts in domes. and even though he was rehearsing this for some time, you can't mimic what the sound is going to be like with 100,000 people in the stadium.
The sound is different when the stadium is full compared to empty, especially in an old dome like Caesars.
The newer domes like Minnesota probably don't have this issue because it was constructed with modern sound in mind

I’m a fan of both artists. This performance was aight. Felt like I heard more music than vocals, wasn’t sure if my audio was tripping. I also think as a performer, you need a lot of BIG hits to have a really good Super Bowl halftime show, not just one
