Q Tip( who had that same grassroots image that Kendrick has) didn't get any slack when he did this pop song

Would have more respect if Kendrick was doing more indie acts like these. But the combo of Taylor swift, Sia, Maroon 5 in a year looks like desperation to be on the charts instead of focusing on a quality feature.

Kendrick came out last night basically to be a hype man for Maroon 5. Nah son that's just not a good look at all

Actually....

Fetty Wap is the new Flo Rida, or is about to be. He's had multiple family friendly radio features since trap Queen/again/rgf island/my way tapered off. It's going to work for him too, no one was buying his trap star image anyway, white people embraced him from the jump, and he has a great sound for pop choruses and hooks.

Do Fetty got more features with pop acts than Kendrick tho ?

That's probably because "Groove is in the Heart" is actually a good song & Q-Tip's rapping doesn't seem forced or artificial (as some of A Tribe called Quest's music had a similar vibe or feel).
