nikkas on this forum love to interpret or imagine what someone else said. If you can control + F my posts in this thread and find the word “empowering” I’ll read past the first sentence, otherwise continue to debate yourself.

Excuse me if what you really meant was lost in translation. You sounded giddy and impressed so I asked if you felt it was empowering. On second thought a better question wouldve been "who gives a shyt?".

Threads like this make me feel like it's a conspiracy going on like a damn coli cointelpro or some shyt

Because Kendrick is truly wanting to unite Los Angeles along lines that are very difficult to tie together and even to the determent of his own respect and his life .

And many of y'all are really mad at this brother for doing so and some even recognize what he's trying to do but still shyt on him saying it won't work ..why he got wetbacks on his album etc. sounds like motherfukkers that won't bust a grape in a food fight talking points to me shyt sounds weird and y'all really trying hella hard to continue to sow division amongst impoverished comminities who have more in common than one would realize.
I'm all for Black power and uniting out own but in many cases Latinos share in our struggle so I'm down with the black and brown unity fukk you if you not

I do believe that it's a correlation between the foos who wacked out his mural and the love he showing to Mexicans on GNX is because Kendrick has power to divide or unite...
If he says he mad at the Mexicans for doing it then the wars continues but he doing an olive branch not for just himself but for the future not to mention the love he got for other enemy hoods he showing love too

So you acknowedge Kendrick does have power and influence, your a sensible man. What Kendrick has never had is the streets. So we will see what type of lasting impact he can make on that front. On the other hand, your quote is highly insulting. The road to Black and brown unity does NOT need to go through gang members:mjlol:. How about uniting regular everyday black and brown people in a substantial way out in California? Maybe politically? Maybe in activism? Things he apparently doesnt want to be apart of or labeled as. Yet he is pressed to unite these gangs lol. But cant expect everyone to be at your same level of conscience:respect:

As someone born and raised in Alabama, I never understood the “black/brown unity” thing from NY/Cali

Down here, Mexicans stay in the trailer parks with the rednecks.:mjlol:

You can probably guess why we don’t fukk with them like that :mjpls:
Not to be that dude but you guys talc so much about other states that let Mexicans say nicca n all that, let’s not forget you niccas literally let white ppl fly confederate flags around yall and have confederate statues and do nothing

You sound a bit out of touch I'm not sure if you are not familiar with the landscape of Los Angeles but politics at the street level start with the streets and gangs
Activism etc all that is interconnected with one another ...
What makes L.A. unique from other big cities is the organization of its gangs and respect passed down from generations...now I understand that many people don't respect gangs and look down on them but for us who have grown up withing this culture know the power it has and show respect to it the same way you would respect a 500 pound gorilla tiger or bear

Its like the movie "It",with the killer clown. He got his power and thrived from the fear of children, even when they grew up into adults. You dont think the reason they have power is because people like you and Kendrick continue to show them respect and reverance? Despite everything theyve done and trauma theyve caused in LA? Theres really nothing to be understood or that we should even be trying to understand at this point. I cant be convinced that people would HAVE to check in with Big U before they protest,or gather to discuss politics and forming a political party:mjlol:.

Sure, like leeches alot of those so called "OG's" would want in becauae Kendricks apart of it. Which is fine if they want to make a transition and leave the nonsense behind. I dont see how unifying nikkas trapped in ignorance does anything other than embolden them, make them more powerful and make kids look up to them even more.

Nah,time for you and Kendrick to pick a side. The time for understanding has passed, now is the time for condemnation from the safety of your home:respect:

Yes i do.

Currently residing in Babylon South(Atlanta).
"Pipe down, young/ This some whole other politics."

How tf do a nikka from Atlanta think he gon school west coast nikkas on Mexicans? How tf do a nikka who claim to be fleeing but won't think he gon school Kendrick on the needs of his local community? That 'I'm leaving... eventually' stance is nothing but a way to avoid investing into your current reality and community. Let him cook.

He couldn't have gotten a FBA Mariachi singer? :mjpls:
He could've gotten El Compa Negro, he's from Compton

He's been at it for over 10 years

Could've gotten Chocolate Uno to feature in his videos. He's from LA as well. Even the most famous Mexican bands invite him up on stage

Chocolate Uno makes music too in English and Spanish. Kendrick could've featured both of these guys

Arent you summa cum laude? I would hope your knowledge extends past your local turf. Im actually from California, birthplace of the black panthers. I dont recall the Black Panthers getting permission from street gangs to feel how they feel and move how they move. So this idea that no grassroots movement of everyday people could form and thrive, without uniting gangs first is a fallacy. In fact, its been said the Panthers inspired gangs like the Young Lords to transition to politics and activism. By them witnessing them be politically involved.

Now if yall care to explain the positives of a rapper whos apolitical, who doesnt consider himself an activist, who DOES glorify and give limelight to gangs and its members. Putting his energy into uniting gangs,im all ears. Until then ill assume yall are just yapping and rushing to defend him because you loved his album.

Last I checked its simple mathmatics, one gang+1 gang=still a gang. Jesus said let the dead bury the dead, but if yall want to continue to apply CPR to the walking dead rather than the living. Good luck with your investments:respect:

Your opinion is invalid. Crazy how you mfers get so bold to speak on what a native's experience is like. Stay in your place.
