2 years is the standard wait time between albums breh, from GKMC to TPAB was actually 2 and a half years
so i finally listened to it.
not feeling this at all. first half i'm not feeling the whole spoken word vibe and pitchy voices. second half which is more "traditional" i feel is a little underwhelming (especially musically). i like Cost of a Dollar and Blacker the Berry (especially the beat).
i don't know, maybe i went in in the wrong mood. maybe i had preconceived notions of what it was gonna sound like and felt disappointed. i'm gonna let it rest for a couple of weeks and go back to it with fresh ears to see but yeah, not my cup of tea.

why doesnt dude just review the album instead of, yet again, getting more analysis about the response to the album? seems we getting a bunch of defensiveness from people who feel they are being forced to like it and maybe dont like it. which is fine. no album is for everyone, and nobody is forcing you to like it. a lot of people do like it however, and why you convinced its some big conspiracy to mind control you i dont know. shyt.
this... the guy isn't reviewing thealbum and I know him personally... hes an idiot.
I mean, look at Klp, he said he didn't enjoy the album but still thinks its one of the best albums of the last 10 years. sometimes you have to put your bias aside if you want to judge the quality of an album.
on my first listen, I knew this album would become a benchmark
