Kendrick is the kind of artist that people publicly claim to like because it makes them appear substantive and deep but he's not someone many people actually enjoy listening to.

GKMC sold 250k first week you dumb shyt and went platinum less than a year later. And this album won't go less than gold first week. Kendricks fanbase obviously wasn't as strong back then as it is now, this albums been hyped for nearly 3 years, and after Control and all the huzzah Kendricks popularity is at a soar. and I don't know what the fukk you're yammering about in that last paragraph

this fascination with first week numbers is ridiculous, the numbers that are important are the 3rd & 4th week. he didn't do 500K last time and still went platinum.
