Why these vids are not side by side bar for bar play? THat PND version of work is better than Riri's version..
I thought that was tough as shyt but I still had this feeling that he didn't write that shyt.
As a fan of the music and someone that actually gives a shyt about rappers writing their own shyt, I feel like that shyt will follow him around the rest of his career. Don't get it twisted, he still that nikka and he's good at what he does but I cant put him in no top 5,10, 15, or 20 becuz of that.

Do I like Kendrick? No. Do you think the praise he gets is overstated and generally not genuine? Yes. But unlike many here, I judge things based on what's actually there instead of being guided by my biases. To me this song isn't any different from anything he's done in the past. It's clear he isn't interested in challenging himself. His shyt is tired and boring.
And when with that said, I clearly said the song gets better mid way through.
