Kendricks already grew on every project so far.
Kanye's only had one album were he hasn't really grew as an artist and it took 12 years for it to happen.

rappers rarely improve on their weaknesses. if they don't clean them up after they debut they tend to get exposed more as time goes on.
so if you personally think he has certain weaknesses now, its highly unlikely they will be improved on to a level that will satisfy you.

this doesn't sound like a TPAB reject at all.

but you had your mind made up before hearing it because you feel a certain way about him or the way pedestal people put him on.
