More music his fans are going to pretend to like and call it a classic but they only listen to it once :banderas:

We knew an album was coming because he dissed the biggest rapper to get some buzz going :beli:

Once upon a time all of us was forbidden to read and write.

We stole bibles and dictionaries from Master’s quarters and recited letters and phrases by candlelight.

The North was our haven, fleeing fugitives now freed Men. Bare with me for a second, let me breakdown his sins.

The Yankees started exploiting black brilliance to help make their own pockets richer. Fast forward 2024 and he got the same agenda.

He runs to real geniuses when he needs to tap into true talent. Let me outline the scheme for you, this the real writer challenge.

You called Kia Shine when you wanted bytches shaking ass in the club.

The Weeknd helped you get your lingo and your cadence up.

PartyNextDoor made you feel like a playa in your head

Hush gave you false Crodie cred.

Quentin Miller had you and your woes convinced that for your career that there was more life.

Majid Jordan had you thinking you could croon better than Chris & Omarion but they lied.

You co-opt the pens of real artists when you need to craft a meal out of your pathetic appetizers.

You not a real scribe you a fukking PLAGIARIZER

Whenever it drops, Drake should drop a surprise album the same day to spice things up.

Surefire way to actually end your career :heh:

Would Drake outsell kendrick? Probably? Maybe? I mean he’d have nothing to gain.

However if he LOST, it’s a potentially career altering loss. See 50 when Kanye outsold him. :patrice:Drake has put too much weight on ‘lol I’m more popular’. He’s tried to lil bro kendrick and it’s turned out disastrously.

And the failure of ‘U my everything’ is the writing on the wall. That’s a hit any other time. The fact that it wasn’t points toward people making a conscious decision to not fw Drake regardless of what he drop

There's every chance Kendrick would outsell him this time around. Drake would be an absolute idiot to drop same time.
Kendrick sells well even with not so mainstream music. But he just showed he can make bangers with ease.
Best bet for Drake is to lay low and come back next year.

Kendrick was talking pro black on both Section 80 AND GKMC.

Do you LISTEN to music or do you just skim through it?

As far as sound, I'm good with whatever. I want to hear him rapping and sounding like he's trying to impress rapping wise. Hes proven to me to be the best rap artist right now but i dont feel like enough people think of him as the best rapper. I get Mr. Morale not needing that but I feel like people want the energy and lyrical sharpness he showed on the diss songs.

Either way, I doubt I'll be disappointed :manny:

Mr Morale has some really GREAT rapping on it though. N95, Rich Spirit, Count Me Out. All great rapping performances. Even something like Father Time, which is heavily conceptual, has some great bar and flow work.
