Why are cats acting like the fukking Super Bowl Halftime Show was some low key shyt that only those in the know were aware of :gucci:

They pick either a legendary artists or a current big time star to perform during the intermission of a game that gets 130M+ viewers, of course mainstream media is going to talk about it.

Basically it is. NFL doesn’t give a fukk about Hip Hop, they just using it for views.
Do you think they give a fukk about any genre of music they have for the Super Bowl? Of course they just want the views. That's the point.

Why do you think these companies pay millions of dollars for ad time?

It’s all about money. I don’t watch the NFL so it’s :manny: I can just see thru all the bullshyt that’s all. Kendrick already performed before so it’s not his first time.

Awww Nadeska is nervous as fukk lol

Maybe she's not used to interviewing in front of crowds in this way.. Plus this is probably one of the bigger interviews of her career

Ill give amazon music credit, they allow for a lot more individulity and expression.
Apple will always maintain that high-brow, costal liberal, elite image

Hence why all their content feels like Ted Lasso…
Where everything they produced polished, big-budget, and ‘feel-good’, but lacking any real cultural depth or impact. Much like this interview.

Kinda like the iPhone as well. Very reliably, safe, high-end and premium
But lacking in creativity / innovation

Apple Music is involved, so I’m sure this is a bland snooze fest 😴
Just like anything with Zane Lowe or Ebro attached.

I used to like Lowe's interviews. They always had clear label interference/agenda but he could still get artists to shoot the shyt and be interesting. He's been completely boring for years though. You can tell Apple has run that shyt into the ground.

There has to be a balance between avoiding trash tier people who are disrespectful/unprofessional (Charlamange) and not doing anything besides label driven advertising that poses as journalism. Like you notice how over the last couple years we keep seeing stars interviewing stars? That's label/studio/Hollywood/etc shyt.

To me personally...I can't really justify not doing any west coast media. Hed, Letty, Big Boy. Pick one. You can't bemoan the death of journalism, complain about click bait, complain about Ak while doing absolutely nothing to support people who are still out here doing the right thing. No, I don't think Kendrick needs to do an interview every year. And no, he is not our savior. And I sure as hell understand he wants to avoid becoming fodder for the bullshyt content industry. But come on fam.
