Well he's definitely popular. He's just not as popular with the young generation as they make you believe. When's the last time you seen any teenagers playing drake?(no Aubrey)....drake's fanbase is mostly over 30 males. Just look on social media. That's mainly who you see with their capes on right now. And that's why they're taking this battle so hard. Cause they've been down with him since day one. And they truly believed he could beat Kendrick. They believed it in their precious little hearts.
And when Kendrick tells dude to grow up and stop pretending to be a tough guy they take that personal. Cause they have to accept the fact that their favorite rapper is a try hard bytchboy who's still in his 2nd childhood. And now they gotta sit back and do some self reflection and understand why that is. Why do they love a try hard bytchboy so much?....And 9 times out of 10 it's because they share the same bytchmade traits as his fakkit ass. And that's why it burns so much deep in their soul. Just look at the Aubrey stans on this site. They're all weird ass cornballs and trolls. It's not a coincidence. There's a reason they gravitated to a clown like Aubrey. They're one in the same.
A lot of female fans have switched up on him. Cause we all know females like winners. And the small amount of young fans he had are now making memes about him. Cause young kids can't associate themselves with anything that's not "cool"....Aubrey isn't cool anymore. He never was. He was just a product of immaculate marketing and promotion. And that's what Kendrick exposed. He showed the world that this clown is a complete fraud in every sense of the word. He's an imposter. A phony. A Liar.

What he’s doing and other pop stars are doing is an attempt to make themselves bigger than what they are. If Drake only released his singles as other artists have done before streaming era… he would not be “charting” like he is.
There’s a reason Kendrick beat him to #1.
