On first listen I thought it was ok. N95 was straight flames. Def my fav song on the first side. Really enjoyed "Die hard" and "father time" too. "We cry together" is not only trash but Im having a hard time thinking of a worse Kendrick song. That might be the worst song he's every done. Didn't care for Rich, or Rich spirit either. The 2nd side was cool. The first half of it was just ok. The last 4 tracks were all really good. Id probably give the album like a 6.5 outta 10 on first listen.

Yeah I like this. The analogy I’m about to make isn’t the most accurate, but this kind of reminds me of a cross between TPAB and DAMN. It sounds eccentric but not as out there as I was expecting based on the title.

I understand what he was going for but that should’ve never made the album

Lowkey Rza executed the concept better on domestic violence, Kendrick just expanded upon it though.
