When Coi Leray is what y’all get excited over I’m not shocked you Kendrick Is getting praised. Any decent to great rapper in this era impresses the masses when Lil Baby and Thot rappers are the norm. It’s a bad sign it’s been 5 years and no one has taken his lane. It shows less greatness not more.

Not only was Kendrick the one that made releasing albums with no marketing and just announcing a very imminent release date a thing, it is also largely what influenced Nas.
Everytime Nas would release an album Jay-Z would release one one the same day, Hov even got his wife, a woman, the join in on that with their duo album.
He basically involved his wife in with his rap beef with Nas.
Then Nas was like WTFF so he tries to shake him by going the Kendrick route.
So it is largely Kendrick who determines Nas's released dates

This era is so sad and mid that you have to wait for one rapper to feed you great music in the mainstream. Us underground dudes are over feasting and never stopped.
