Yeah not to shyt on that accomplishment but tickets for the Toronto show was like 300 minimum. I could see how he would break records if he's doing a stadium tour charging those prices

Drake stans salty Kenny didn't need Migos or Future to get the numbers :lolbron:
Last tour they said Travis opening up for him inflated the success of the tour. This time it's something else lol. Always gonna be an excuse because these guys are mad Kendrick isn't doing House Of Blues club shows and releasing GKMC 2. Brehs should just admit it, you wanted Kendrick to fail after he challenged the boy and didn't get your wish.

Given that Drake and Kendrick are cool (Drake went to both Toronto shows for Kdot's tour) I see no point in being mad about this stuff.

Almost a year since this dropped and it has aged like fine wine. One of those albums you have to settle in to really appreciate it
No microwave music over here
Facts. I always knew it was a consistent album. There's no obvious bad songs like GOD on DAMN. It's a deep multilayered album too

But this past month made me really appreciate this. Crown alone

:mjcry:

Clients at my job call me their heroes. People tell me "why can't more men be like you?"

But when I say no, all I've done gives them amnesia
:mjcry:

It's the same thing with TPAB. This Mr. Morale record will age beautifully. Music you can listen to to cope with life is timeless

Also, Eckhart Tolle's intro on the Savior interlude suggests that Kendrick has a savior complex because of the "bad things that happened" to him

"Mr. Morale" is a savior complex developed from his trauma
Big Steppers are his followers he helps with his music. His homies. Black America. Oklama. His people. People.

This is why he is both. And neither at the same time

Kendrick is going down as a top 5 rapper of all time when it's all said and done. His albums could be in English class curriculums. And still have more substance than the bullshyt they make kids study in school
:yeshrug:

You can’t listen to this album while driving your car. It has a place, it’s just a very specific place and people didnt want that from him after 5 years and those big records like “humble” and “loyalty”

Great album though. This is his “Here, My Dear”
