I thought about that? Do you think the tap dancing sfx had any significance.
The Big Steppers. “Stop tap dancing around the conversation.” Louder and louder footsteps as he explains his pain and vices. It’s like having something hidden in the closet and sooner or later it’s gonna escape unless you let it out yourself and address it.

This album legit gets better with each listen :wow:

I really can’t wait to see how he performs this on tour. I really feel it’s gonna be a whole play.

Anybody whoever been to his Day N Vegas show last year, it was pretty much the preview for what’s to come. He literally had the “Big Steppers” with him the entire time.

Hell, he was doing the “Big Stepper” dance in the “Family Ties” video and during his Super Bowl performance. He had this ALL laid out :wow:

I also wouldn’t be surprised if on tour he performs the album in its entirety and have little to no TDE records. Kinda reminiscent of Kanye’s Yeezus tour and I feel folks will appreciate the album more..

It’s a lot of cap in this thread about that “song”
I listen to it often including in the whip (with the windows up…) but then again when I used to fukk heavy with RZA’s Domestic Violence too. That’s just dope to me and well done. I don’t play it every time I listen to the album obviously.

On another note I don't think the Ghana trip is by accident. I think he is there to gain inspiration. I think the next album will be him rapping over afrobeat production or music that is native to Ghana. A mix of those different styles. Yeah I know let Mr Morale and the Big Steppers digest first lol im just saying though

That's nonsense

You can't even fully digest and comprehend the lyrics after one listen. Hell, half the time I don't even know what the fukk this nikka even said in a song in just one listen

Not just with Kendrick, but new albums in general. By the third or fourth time you listen to it, your opinion is locked in, but the first listen is just that: The first listen. The only way your opinion can be fully formed then is if the album is especially good (Magic) or especially bad (Revival).

"I would be more impressed for him to talk about the epidemic of violence in which it's largely Black, cisgender men, killing Black and brown trans women, or talking about the numerous bills, moving around the country, to restrict our rights," she said. "We've got to move beyond this getting-the-names-right, getting-the-pronouns-right conversation."
Lol that's crazy
