And it's not even close. Both are dope albums in their own right but this record is like a movie on wax. I can relate to a few songs too so this album hits home.

I can easily say this now, That Sherane track was me at age 18, how did kendrick capture that shxt :ohlawd:

Plus LIG isn't nearly as cohesive as GKMC where the sequence of all the tracks is just perfect :wow:

Kendrick dropped a gem yo :to:

Yeah, this will be the 4th album I've doubled down on (copping Digital + Physical) this year. First 3 were Life is Good, Mourning in America, Dreaming in Color & A Dream Deferred.

After you take the skit with Grandmoms talking in the end "Dying of thirst" is not even 3 minutes long :sadcam:

That and poetic justice (made me want to listen to Janet's record) is the 2 stand out songs, both been on repeat.

shyt flows effortlessly. I wish he did a whole song to the beginning of the art of peer pressure.

yeah, that beat is so smooth.... :ahh:

another dope little intro/interlude beat that is wasted. i hope the full version of that intro is a full track that got scrapped and leaks sometime in the future.

*remembers back to pete rock and primo doing that on their albums all the time back in the day.* :noah:

I'm on probably my 8th listen and I can't turn it off. It might be better than the Doc for me. I just to see how much staying power it has. I still wish that Cartoon & Cereal would've made the album.
