It feels great to support an artist that doesn’t make mid rehashes of mid rehashes. Don’t have to force myself to listen to an album that clearly is mid or worry about their character flaws overshadowing the music.

Corporate America has zero influence on what I enjoy. They're always gonna follow the money no matter what. I would much rather them jump on something with substance so I'm good with it. Anything that brings more attention to Kendrick's music is a positive.

Wasn’t sure where to put this video but this was a phenomenal breakdown on why Kendrick is not just a great rapper, but a true artist as well. He really does take it seriously which is why he’s been able to make such timeless music without having to compromise himself whatsoever.
