I also remember an interview of him, during OD, where he talked about his dream of making an album like TPAB but knew he needed a more "traditional" album first.

Nah, this was a good find. Bro had GKMC's whole premise set back in 2008.

This is the type of thought and planning I miss in a lot of popular artist.

It's like Roc Marci said on his new album...rappers be spending more time writing a social media post than an album. We may never get new mainstream rappers like this (Kendrick, Cole, etc) again anytime soon.

And this is why Kendrick is so respected. Cause he's just a solid dude. He came from a childhood of pain and trauma, but stayed true to his morals and came out of it a good person. From his very first album he just wanted to change the world for the better. And he did that. Even if you aren't a fan of his music, if you can't respect Kendrick's journey you a bytch.
