You nikkas implying politics being involved in that SB decision means nothing. It's all politicking at the end of the day. Or it could be as simple as the nikka being one of the biggest artists in the world, currently in the middle of the biggest year of his career, being selected because he's great at what he does. Entitled to praise is a bit of a stretch imo. It's morseo about integrity and standing on how you feel regardless of how other perceive you or your intentions. The SB announcement gave everybody a chance to do what they've BEEN wanting to do all year, which was shyt on him, but they had no real reason to do so. Never has there been so much emotion and rage about a a damn halftime performance announcement. Ever.

But that anger was more directed toward Jay if anything. They wasn't shytting on Dot. They was just calling Jay out for his decision cause they felt it was backhanded. He's also mad at Snoop for not being mad about Taylor Made. He was mad at Game for staying out of it. He's on some if u not with me u against me type shyt. These the same sentiments Jay used to feel during and after his battle with Nas but people called Jay out for it. Like I said. I respect He's putting it all on the table.

All i said was that from a culture stabling kendrick isn’t the first or only rapper deserving of the spot.

It’s 100% politics as for why no other rapper has done it yet.

One thing I noticed about this album is son is putting his ego on full display. He feels entitled to praise and if u not giving it to him he's not fukking with u. He basically drew the line in the sand. While I respect it it also proves what I been saying about him right.

I’m wondering if that’s intentionally done on the album because that could be part of theme. The follow up will be telling maybe it might be more an ego death type of album.

Game one of those guys who knows even bad press will get him a 25k first week for his new album. He dropped Paisley Dreams quietly and it didn't even chart.

The more I listen this really is Kendrick's Stillmatic.

100%, it's a warcry album with a ton of warning shots aimed at Drake's camp in case they're considering tagging themselves into the beef. Hell, he even pays tribute to One Mic on here.
