He may have had the track for awhile and updated it based on Push Ups, who knows. Joe Budden reiterated again that the track is ready, only a matter of when they wanna drop. Some saying there's a video, some saying just a track. We'll see.

Jay and Nas took months to battle.

Jay called Nas out at Summerjam in June. Nas dropped Stilmatic Freestyle in August. Jay dropped Takeover in Sept. Folks was counting Nas out. Nas dropped Ether in Dec.

Aside from the superugly/European Jay everything else had weeks/months between releases.

At this point, the best and maybe most plausible situation is Kendrick will drop it with a new whole album.. that way he has the diss in there (maybe even 2 songs for Drake), and if the album is pure rap, then he can attempt also show himself off as "the best" as an artist if that is how he intends to double up... if so, likely will drop in a couple of weeks if Mal is right
