I'm not a fan of either guy, but all of this "______ got to respond by _____" is bullshyt. People forget that "real nikkaz" dropped the summer of 1990 going at Ice cube. Death Certificate didn't drop until the fall of the NEXT YEAR!!! "Ether" didn't drop until months after Takeover. I don't know when all of those 3-7 day response nonsense started. And that goes for both Drake and Kendrick.

Could some of that be the fact that times have changed? Back then you didnt have many avenues to get music to your fans. Had to go to the radio to "properly" release it or have it on your album. Not to mention rappers/engineers etc had to actually meet up. Now they can just email shyt to each other and get the song released by pushing a button or "leaking" it and it reaches millions of ppl.

Yes times have changed. But that doesn't mean Kendrick gotta drop right after Drake drops. He can take a couple weeks, there's no immediate deadline. Social media has just fried everyone's brains and made everyone impatient lol.
