He may not be a Drake level "popstar" but make no mistake about it Kendrick has had a big machine behind him too. He's got an album that did over 600,000 copies in its 1st week. Ppl know who he is and his core demographic are now ppl who also have a decent amount of "disposable income". The man has a pulizer prize for that same album. Those same fans will be at the super bowl and also watching the game.
