Wonder where Kendrick goes next time. GKMC, TPAB, and DAMN all sound quite different and execute their sounds/concepts/etc very well. I don't think Kendrick is ever going to top TPAB or try to do something that so far out of the contemporary sound. You can't go from releasing a big arena album to something super experimental...err, at least in rap, unless you're Kanye (Yeezus).

The funny thing is that it's like he's back where he was after GKMC. Release an album, it blows up with sales and critical acclaim...people wonder how you can top it. Last time he basically said fukk it and went left. I doubt he'll do it again this time, but I also don't think the next album will be as radio friendly as DAMN.

TPAB is the album he wanted to drop after Section 80 but it's not palatable enough for mass consumption.

He is 4/4 and if he drops another good album then :wow:

Breh needs to flop and "be humbled" then come back with classic ala Nas with Stillmatic

Great Year for Kung Fu Kenny.... Perfect album coming off TPAB. Feel and Fear and two of my favorite songs of the year. Humble and DNA are great mainstream songs I'm still not tired of....

I'm definitely interested in his next project. At this point I feel he can go in any direction he chooses with no pressure....

I'm hoping for another concept album

he should do a straight visual album, even if it's only like 3-5 songs. would be fire. his videos have been amazing so far.
