Wonder where Kendrick goes next time. GKMC, TPAB, and DAMN all sound quite different and execute their sounds/concepts/etc very well. I don't think Kendrick is ever going to top TPAB or try to do something that so far out of the contemporary sound. You can't go from releasing a big arena album to something super experimental...err, at least in rap, unless you're Kanye (Yeezus).

The funny thing is that it's like he's back where he was after GKMC. Release an album, it blows up with sales and critical acclaim...people wonder how you can top it. Last time he basically said fukk it and went left. I doubt he'll do it again this time, but I also don't think the next album will be as radio friendly as DAMN.

Idk breh,

We can’t put anything past Kendrick.

He proved he can move units and make radio friendly joints with this one.

He may say fukk it and go super experimental on the next one cause I think the music is more important than making hits to him.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he made a gospel album next time.
