how isnt he? dude has been grinding for a long ass time, from OD to section80 (which was immaculate...that album set the table for him to be hyped when he dropped GKMC). it's not his fault that he makes the type of music a larger segment of hip hop heads are looking for. people would gladly share the hype if more of his contemporaries put out similar music AND garner the sales. yall really let the media's love of an artist block yall from seeing that they're received that way by their fans as well.
No one says that Migos and Future are manufactured hype.
And I prefer Kendrick over them but he isn't as organic as those guys and the hype does seem manufactured at times

Still rocking most of the album. I was curious whether interest in the album would decrease now that the hype and album conspiracies are gone. But it's still getting heavy play from me and I'm hearing it coming from a car every week.
