I've given this album a full listen through and I'm enjoying it. I need to listen at least 3 more times to pick everything up but I will say that sonically, this is his most accessible album. The production being less jazzy will definitely attract the less "cultured" ears. Lyrically, he's less direct in regards to telling a story which is why I think the sequencing and skits are actually more important for the sake of nuance.
9th Wonder showed his ass on Duckworth
I wanna give this another listen through but if the double album theories are true, I might just wait until it comes out so I can digest both albums together.
Side Note: Stans are ruining music. The back and forth Stan wars makes me not want to listen to these albums because I can't have rational discussions with people. Just. Enjoy. The. Music.
If Kendrick isn't your kind of music, don't listen. Don't feel the need to bring up Drake. And the same goes to Kendrick stans.
