DNA was dope as hell but just being honest when I say the first half of the album was putting me to sleep. It really picks up in the second half though for the most part. Not too many crazy standouts IMO so feeling a little disappointed but hoping it will grow on me. Still haven't bumped it in the whip so maybe that will help

Yall gonna kill me for saying this but personally i think Cole's "4 your eyez only" album is better than this Kendrick album.

I just wanted more straight up rapping.

Cole also has an easier time cause he has a doper voice and i feel Kendrick's voice turns people off. I'm currently reading the comments section under that Hot97 video of Rosenberg nut hugging and i get mixed emotions. Cause i feel the people are getting angry and calling Kendrick overhyped simply cause of Rosenberg, but at the same time its people like Rosenberg that make alot act that way.

One thing i saw in common though was people discussing Kendrick's voice. I think that is the real thing holding them back from rocking with him. Imagine if Kendrick had Freddie Gibbs(without the deep mumbling) voice then it would be a different story.

:gucci: first of all who the fukk are you?

Second of all, the fukk is you talking about?

Underrated post

On "Loyalty " Kendrick and Rihanna did Big Sean & Jhene Aiko better than Big Sean & Jhnene Aiko :wow: :lawd:

Couldn't put my finger on why that style sounded so familiar.

It's not the artist I'm underestimating. It's label politics and bullshyt. It was label fukkery that stopped Nas from dropping Lost Tapes 2. It was label fukkery that wouldn't let Lupe Fiasco drop a triple album. It was label fukkery that supposedly wouldn't let Jay Electronica drop without a "single". Now we're supposed to believe that a label is going to let an artist drop an album TWO DAYS after another project because..... Christianity?:heh: and people on here acting like it's a done deal based upon rumor and a tweet from his sister:usure:

Again. It would definitely be welcomed, but I have NO idea why we should all be collectively holding our breaths when the man just dropped an INCREDIBLE album that we could be dissecting and debating.

Because Christianity tho? Lol. The most logical dream shattering ever lol
