Kendrick is above his peers because he takes the most risks with his music. And even while doing that... he still keeps his swagger intact. So yeah it's got a different influence on the record, but ultimately, it's Kendrick's take on it.

This album really is a mixture of all of his previous works/sounds.

You can hear some of everything in this album, and then he gives us some new songs from him that we're not used to hearing from him. I don't think he missed on any of them honestly. It's a real balanced album.

You can literally section off the songs on here and put them in his previous album categories.

Section.80 type vibes:
GKMC type vibes:
TPAB type vibes:
Untitled Unmastered vibes:
New Damn vibes:

I don't feel like going and listing everything but you get the point.
You just described drake. Thanks for playing.

And now y'all giving Kendrick props for singing?

TPAB is a universal classic. fukk the media and press, it's praised by decorated musicians across all genres as one of the greatest albums of all time.

Doesn't even make sense to entertain that.

If it was only the media an argument could be made. But too many scholars, professors, musicians etc. have raved about that album.

It got Prince's eye man.
TPAB is a jazz album with Kendrick stumbling to rhyme on it. Anything with a moderately positive message and y'all hail it as some achievement.

fukking Kodak Black has shown more introspection and insight than Kendrick has here.

Whole album was flames.
One thing I appreciate from Kendrick albums are the incredibly smooth transitions from one song to the next, usually mood/temperature of the song, bassline morphing from something into another, or a whole host of other things, I'm a fan honestly.

After a couple more spins, I'm definitely rocking with this. Its different but has elements of GKMC and S80( his two best projects, imo).

Production is off the hook and Kendrick isnt doing the nasally alien voice thing and actually coming with some bars. Speaking some real in them bars too. I can see a lot of fans like myself who got turned off by TPAB, flocking back. This shyt damn near has no filler and is consistent all the way through.

Fear and DNA are

Stop.
I understand you feel some odd compulsion to genuinely hate anything Kendrick Lamar releases, but its more and more apparent that you don't even have a basis for it.
Why the bitter desperation?
Did he not pay you back for some money he borrowed a decade ago? Did he sleep with your girlfriend of 5 years? What's going on?
