my personal preference though:

Tpab > damn > od > s80 > gkmc

Tpab (greatest album since ok computer) > damn > s80 > gkmc > uu > klep > od

replay value is personal, thats not an objective aspect of the actual quality

I bet you can't mention more than 2 albums better than mbdtf.

When nikkas start using the "transcended genres" it means "the raps on this album cant stand on their own two but there is a bunch of experimental production and concepts that cacs will love"

I'm a VERY big Kendrick fan and love all his music and I can agree that some of his stans over-exaggerate him to levels of extremes. But still I have heard people say good things about this album and its good to see you say its also good.

You don't know enough about writing for me to even break it down for you.

All I can say is you have to know how to seperate vocal ability from the writing.

Drake could make a song about his love of Reuben sandwiches and the tones in his voice will make it sound like it has depth and conviction. But the content isn't there because even though he says it well, he isn't saying anything.

He's very good at that.

But as far as the writing goes, it's a landslide for Kendrick. Not close. Won't ever be.

Drake is vocally speaking, one of the greats to ever do it.

Drake is a better song writer than Kendrick ever will be, his understanding of the English language far surpasses many of his peers. Kendrick gets away with way too many filler lyrics

Woah whats going on here? The college dropout, late registration and my beautiful dark twisted fantasy are some of the greatest albums of all time especially mbdtf which set a new bar of excellence for hip-hop. You may not like him but kanye is an all time great. 808sandheartbrrak gave us a new era of artists. Objectively speaking Mbdtf is ths second greatest album of the 21st century after tpab and was originally the best album since ok computer until tpab dropped.
