Thinking about it, what's hella ironic is that a lot of the same people who talk about Kendrick having a more sophisticated musical foundation than the rest of his peers are the same people who completely ignore some lowkey basic musical shortcomings he has such as his abrasive vocal tonality which rarely ever works in key with the music :skip:

These same people then go on to mock and criticize rappers who can not only maintain consistent vocal tonality in key with the music (Thug) but are also able to convey and control emotion in their delivery/lyrics (Gates) which is literally one of the most coveted skills for any vocalist regardless of genre :skip:

Most of these nikkas never actually laid vocals before so it's understandable, still funny though how the internet rap community created a lotta nikkas who think the technical side of rapping is strictly in the writing. :snoop: I'll give Kendrick credit in that he has some songs where he effectively conveyed the emotion of his lyrics through his delivery but a lot of times it comes off as extremely forced.

Kendrick ain't for everybody, what's appealing to your ears ain't appealing to everyone else, delivery is cool but when all your songs sound the same it doesn't really matter.. in terms of Kevin Gates and Young Thug, point is some people ain't for everybody

Do you ever walk into a restaurant to order food and expect to hear "Don't you know how to cook in this day and age?" :heh: I always ask for an album link here when something drops and cats deliver with no issue, mothafukkas just giving you a hard time for no reason. I got you man check your PM

no the proper analogy would be asking someone else to go to KFC for you because you don't know where it is but you've lived in the same city all your life & there's at least 10 fast food joints within walking distance from your house.

No one care about that fruit stand thugger and his garbage voice... Numbers don't lie

Lol @ talking about basic musical short comings while bigging up a mumble mouth rapper who lacks clarify in the same paragraph. :laff:

Kendrick didn't use an abrasive voice his whole career either...
