When Big and Pac alive, we just enjoyed the music. No one was annointing them or talking about their rank amongst the past legends. Also, back then, a lot of rappers made noise. Bone Thugs ranked anywhere from 1-3 from 94-96.is this like when the old heads were witnessing the tupac's and big's at the height of their peaks....cause they never dropped duds...but.....they never put out this many projects when they were alive
it aint like nas and jay....cause they both have dropped duds of projects.....
this nikka is the gold standard
sign me up for this too
this.My immediate reaction is that this is far from trash as well as far from being a classic. There are two or maybe three classic songs on the album (IMO Fear, XXX and Duckworth), the rest of the CD is consistently listenable with nice production but o/a does not have that next level feeling.
Money Trees, Kill My Vibe, Poetic Justice, Swimming Pools, Backseat Freestyle And Compton from GKMC was geared for the Radio that's 6 out of 12 tracks of the album that's 50% 1/2 of the album what the fukk y'all talking about
Revisionist at it's finest
